You can easily track and manage the status of opportunities and pro bono volunteers with Paladin's tools!

Take a look at your dashboard and note the four columns going across the top: Opportunities, Interest Expressed, Placed, and All.

Opportunities is all currently recruiting matters shared with your office or region. This will update in real time as opportunities expire or are removed by the referring organization.

Interest Expressed is a "pending" category that will show you all opportunities in which volunteers have expressed interest. Until the volunteer status is updated to Placed (or another status), the record will remain in the Interest Expressed column.

Placed shows you all the opportunities that have confirmed volunteers attached, meaning the volunteer is taking on the matter, will attend the event, or similar. You (or another admin on your team) can update a volunteer status from Interest Expressed to Placed at any time by clicking "Place" next to their name. This will move the record from the Interest Expressed Column into the Placed column.

(Note: Where applicable, setting a volunteer's status to Placed will send a notification email to the referring organization. If the referring organization sets the status, you will receive a notification email. Regardless of who Places a volunteer, that status will be reflected in your admin dashboard.)

All is your opportunity archive. Here you can find non-recruiting opportunities, including expired opportunities. You'll never lose the record of an opportunity listing on Paladin, even once it's no longer available to volunteers. For opportunities you own (those that you entered), you can restart recruiting at any time.

The admin dashboard is your home base for seeing what is currently available to your volunteers, monitoring statuses, and adjusting opportunity visibility! For more on what you can do with your Paladin admin tools, check out the "Opportunity Sharing" collection.
