Walk through the Admin Reporting to gain transparency and impact

This article provides step-by-step guidance on using both the Reporting tools within your Paladin dashboard, helping you get the most out of your experience.

In this section, we will explore how to utilize your reporting dashboard to view your users pro bono and general volunteering participation.

To view your Reporting dashboard, click on the "Reports" tab from your Paladin homepage. This will take you to your Reporting dashboard.

From here you will see the following sections:

Time-Tracking Overview

Time-Tracking Overview

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find an overview of your organization's pro bono and volunteering activity. This will include your program's:

  • Hours Year to Date

  • Total Engagements Year to Date

    • Note: An "engagement" is any date on which a user enters hours.

  • Top Contributors by Hours

  • Two Pie Charts: One pie chart shows how many volunteers have participated in pro bono work, and the other tracks how many volunteers have met your organization's hour goal.

    • Note: the hours goal is customized to your organization and can be set by your Client Experience Manager.

Community Impact Summary

Just below the Overview section, you'll find the Community Impact Summary. This includes data on your program's impact broken down by providers causes and communities!


NOTE: You can export any of these charts by clicking "Action" export or right clicking on the pie chart!

Impact Data

All Volunteers

Here’s what you’ll see for each Volunteer:

  • Name

  • Title

  • Total Hours (Pro Bono + General Volunteering)

  • YTD Hours (Pro Bono + General Volunteering)

  • Total Hours (Pro Bono only)

  • YTD Hours (Pro Bono only)

  • Total Hours (General Volunteering only)

  • YTD Hours (General Volunteering only)

Referring Organization Hours

In this table, you will see a detailed breakdown of all of your organization's volunteer engagement separated out by referring organization.

All Opportunities with Time Contributed

This table will detail all opportunities with time allocated to it. This information will include:

  • Opportunity Source (Paladin or External)

  • Opportunity Title

  • Opportunity Type

  • Referring Organization

  • Opportunity Type

  • Total Hours Contributed

  • User Status

  • Practice Areas

  • Causes & Communities

  • Skills Developed

View by Engagement Type

See all of the information above broken down by Pro Bono or General Volunteering by toggling the tabs on the top left of your dashboard.


Sort & Filter

Customizing Columns:

You are in the driver seat with what types of information you want displayed on your tables! This includes being able to select which columns you would like to hide or show. Click on the "Columns" side panel on the right of the table to select which data points you want displayed.


To re-order the columns being displayed, simply click on the column name to drag and drop the column. Move these columns in the table display or within the column pop-out window by grabbing the dots to the left of the name.

Filtering Data:

The Table Filters allow you to drill down and find the exact information you are searching for. The filters available mirror the column types listed. You can filter columns by either clicking on the three lines on the column headers, or clicking on the Filters option to the right of the table.

Email Volunteers

You can email volunteers directly from the All Volunteers table by selecting the checkbox next to one or more volunteers and then clicking the "Email" button in the top left corner of the table.

💡 Filter the report, to narrow down to a specific set of users by title, hours met, or other criteria.

Export Data

You can export information from any table by clicking the Actions dropdown in the top-right corner and selecting your preferred export option.

💡 The exported data will match what is displayed in the table, including sort order, column order, and any applied filters.
