Law firm and corporate in-house admins now have the ability to create and update their Organization Profile and Organization Settings. This will help provide key information to potential (and existing) legal services organization (LSO) connections, helping you build and strengthen your network on Paladin. This new feature also allows admins to limit the types of pro bono opportunities LSOs are able to share with your organization.

In this help article, we'll guide you through the process of setting-up and maintaining your organization's profile and settings.

Organization Profile

  1. Navigate to the drop-down on the top right-hand side of the page. Select "Organization Profile." The "Organization Profile" page will appear.

  2. Click "Edit." An editable version of the profile page will appear.

  3. Upload your organization's logo thumbnail, and fill in the fields with your organization's information and primary contact. Required fields are marked with an asterisk*.

  4. Click "Edit category exclusion selections" to prohibit certain types of opportunities from being shared with your organization. See Exclusions Section below for more information.

  5. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page

Exclusions

If there are certain practice areas or causes & communities that lawyers are prohibited from handling, admins have the option to set these as "exclusions" at the organization level. This will limit the types of opportunities that legal services organizations are able to share to your lawyers.

  1. Navigate to the "Exclusions" page by clicking on the "Edit category exclusion selections" on the "Organization Profile" page OR via the "Organization Settings" link within the drop-down on the top right-hand side your dashboard.

  2. Select any practice areas and/or causes & communities that your organization does not accept for pro bono opportunities.

  3. Click "Save Changes."

"Exclusions" Visibility on Network Profile

By default, "exclusions" will be visible on the network tab. This helps legal services organizations better understand program limitations.

To make these exclusions hidden from LSOs, uncheck the box under the "Exclusions" section at the bottom of the "Organization Profile" page.

Note: Regardless of whether the exclusions are visible or hidden, LSOs will not be able to share opportunities that are related to your organization's excluded practice areas nor causes & communities.
