This Functionality Supports:
Law Firm Pro Bono Teams and Client Development Teams
The Client Collaboration tool helps you easily identify and share pro bono projects aligned with clients' interests. This is an excellent way to build and foster these relationships!
Create Your Client List
Start by adding clients to the "Client List."
Step 1: Click on your name in the top right corner of your dashboard, and select "Client List" from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Click the "+ New Client" button. A form will open for you to enter information regarding the client.
Step 3: Fill out the form with information regarding the organization, your primary client contact, your law firm's primary relationship manager, and the pro bono preferences of the client (these can be edited at any time).
Step 4: Click the "Create Client" button. This will take you to the client record, where you can edit any of the fields or add notes to the "Notes" field.
View and Share Suggested Pro Bono Opportunities
Paladin will use the client's pro bono interests and exclusions to suggest pro bono matters for you to review and share with your client. These pro bono opportunities will appear below the relevant client's profile.
There are two sections of pro bono opportunities:
Public or shareable opportunities: These are the opportunities that you will have permission to "share" with your clients.
Private or not shareable opportunities: These opportunities are not currently shareable to your clients, based on permissions that were set by the relevant legal services organization (LSO).
Public or shareable opportunities:
Click on the opportunity name to open the opportunity detail page, and then click the "Share this Opportunity" button on the right-hand side of the page. This will open a box that will provide you with a URL that you can copy. From here, you can add this URL to an email or another medium and send to your client to view.
Private or not shareable opportunities:
Click on the opportunity name to open the opportunity detail page. If this is an opportunity that you would like to share with a client, you will need to reach out to the respective LSO and request permission to share with your network.
Additional Sharing Options
In addition to viewing and sharing opportunities from the bottom of a client record, you are also able to share opportunities individually or in bulk from the "Recruiting" tab of your "Admin" dashboard.
βStep 1: Navigate to the "Recruiting" tab, and check the box next to one or more opportunities you would like to share.
Step 2: Click the "Email" button at the top of the opportunity list. This will open a sharing box.

Step 3: Input the email address of your client, along with an optional custom message, and send directly to your client's inbox! You are also able to copy the URL and share the opportunity from your own email or another medium.

Your Client's Experience
Once you share an opportunity with your client, they will be able to access a view-only version of the opportunity detail page. When you share the opportunity, we encourage you to let them know whom they should reach out to at your firm if they are interested in working on the matter. Note: The client will not have access to the "express interest" button, so communications regarding taking on the matter will happen off-platform.
