Featuring an opportunity promotes the opportunity to your lawyers, students, and volunteers, ensuring they are seeing the priority opportunities you most want to highlight. See below for some common questions regarding featured opportunities.
1. Which opportunities can be set as "featured"?
Any currently recruiting opportunity can be featured. If it automatically expires or is removed by the referring organization, the opportunity will no longer be visible to users, regardless of featured status.
1️⃣ Select the opportunity(ies) to Feature
2️⃣ Click the Feature Opportunity button at the top of the page
🌟 This must be done from the Active opportunities tab
NOTE: If the opportunity later re-starts recruiting, it will automatically be featured again, until you manually remove that status.
Opportunities can also be featured via the Opportunity Detail page.
2. How many opportunities can be featured at one time?
As many as you want! We recommend limiting the number of featured opportunities per office, so you can drive your users towards the most high-priority listings.
3. Can I stop featuring an opportunity while keeping it recruiting (visible to my users)?
Yes! Featuring an opportunity is independent of the recruiting aspect. Once the opportunity is no longer featured, it will continue to recruit volunteers, but will no longer be automatically displayed at the top of the opportunity list.
1️⃣ Select the check box next to the opportunity(ies) to stop featuring
2️⃣ Click the Stop Featuring button
➡️ Opportunities can also stop featuring via the Opportunity Detail page, and then click the red button that says Stop Featuring.
4. How can I see which opportunities are currently set as featured?
Opportunities that are featured will contain a star at the front of the title. To display all of your filtered opportunities, utilize the Filter by > Featured > Yes, and all the featured opportunities will be displayed.
5. What do my users see when I feature an opportunity?
Featured opportunities will appear at the top of the Browse Opportunities page, with a '⭐️ Featured' tile on the opportunity card.
6. How do featured opportunities impact the weekly digest email?*
Featured opportunities will appear at the top of the listing in the users' weekly digests. Following any featured opportunities will be the opportunities based on user's preferences and/or opportunities recruiting for the user's Team.
7. Who can see featured opportunities?*
Featured opportunities will be visible to users on the Teams which it is shared.
