Admins have various ways to share additional information about a currently recruiting opportunity:

Add a Note

Opportunity notes are a great way to add internal context to pro bono listings recruiting on Paladin. You can share a billing number for an existing project, highlight a mentor or subject matter expert at the firm, or outline who is best suited to take on a particular opportunity.

How do I add a note?

  1. From the Admin dashboard, click into the opportunity name to view its details.

  2. Scroll down to the "Add a Note" button.

  3. Type any information you would like users viewing this opportunity to see.

Admin opportunity detail, highlighting the Add a note button.

Who can see my note?

Anyone will see the note if it is recruiting for their Team. Similar to opportunity descriptions, it's best to leave off personally identifying information (PII). The note is only visible to users within your organization. Additionally, the LSO that referred the opportunity will not see your note.

Who can write or edit a note?

Any Admin user at your organization can write, edit, and/or delete a note that is shared with their Team.

Are there opportunities I won't be able to add a note to?

As an Admin, you will be able to modify notes for all opportunities shared with your Team(s).

Email Volunteers Directly from an Opportunity Listing

Admins can communicate with users who have already volunteered for an opportunity through email.

  1. To begin, click on an opportunity from the Admin dashboard and scroll to the bottom of the page to view the list of volunteers.

  2. Next, select one or more volunteers and click the "Email" button.

Admin view of the opportunity detail page, with the email button outlined.

  3. Your primary email account will open with a draft email. Your email will be in the "To" field, while the selected volunteer emails will be in the "Bcc" field. Now, you have the complete flexibility to compose the message and send it!

NOTE: If your email remains in the "To" field, you will receive a copy of the email for your records.
