Maintaining an up-to-date User list is important to ensure that the legal professionals at your organization have access to the most relevant pro bono opportunities available on Paladin.

Users

Everyone at your organization that will use Paladin to find and engage with pro bono opportunities will have a User account. During initial onboarding, Paladin staff will work with you to create the initial set of Users who will have access to Paladin. After initial onboarding, you can use the tools available on Paladin to manage your users as described in this article.

User Attributes

Paladin users include the following attributes:

  • Name (first and last)

  • Email - The users work email address. This will be used to login to Paladn.

  • Team - Commonly, Users will belong to a Team representing their Office. See more on Teams below.

  • Title

  • Department

User Roles

Users will have access to different Paladin features depending on their role.

  • Team Member - Members can browse pro bono opportunities on Paladin, express interest in working on them and will receive a weekly digest email with opportunities that are relevant to them.

  • Team Admin - Admins have the same features as Members but also have access to the Administrative areas of Paladin where they can manage pro bono recruitment and their organizations Users.

Teams

Paladin Teams represent groups of Users within your organization that mirror your organization's structure. Members of the same Team have access to the same set of pro bono opportunities.

A common way to use Teams is to represent each office in your organization as a Team. At this time, Paladin will configure your Teams for you at onboarding. If you have a need to later modify your Teams, reach out to Paladin support.

To find out how to create and manage your Users, see the article Managing your organization's users.
