Recent Updates β
2025
Default Participation List Views: Admins users are now able to designate a default view for participation tables on timekeeper and matter detail pages. This is an organization-wide setting. More Information.
Excel Export Improvements: Reports which are exported via Excel now have improved formatting to include: frozen header rows and table formatting; linked timekeepers and matters, which will open in Paladin; appropriately formatted dates; bolded sub-totals for grouped data; and, improved printing settings. Tag Display: Admins can now customize the order in which tags appear across the platform. More Information.
Editable Notes: Notes can now be edited by any admin.
Data Import History: There is now a page within the Insights dashboard that provides transparency with the history of imports, highlighting whether or not there are any issues that need to be investigated to ensure accuracy of data within the platform. Email notifications will also be sent to relevant admins when there are warnings or errors. More Information.
Timekeeper Access: For firms allowing access to their timekeepers, this is now available for them to view their own pro bono participation. More Information.
Options Menu Within Report Builder: There is a new "Options" menu within Report Builder that allows you to "filter aggregated values," as well as "export grouped rows only." This makes it easier to analyze summarized data and generate cleaner reports that focus on key insights.
Notes Reports Milestone Date Filter: Admins now have the ability to filter notes reports by the milestone date of notes.
Inactive Practice Areas Hidden on Landing Page: Practice areas that are inactive no longer appear on the Practice Groups chart on the landing page.
Notes Tagging: Admins now have the ability to create Notes Tags and assign to notes on matters and timekeepers.
Prior MTD: This column is now available on Timekeeper and Matter Tables
Inactive Timekeepers on Assigned Timekeepers Overview: Inactive timekeepers no longer appear on the Assigned Timekeepers Overview on the Matter Detail Page.
Updates to Report Builder: Broad updates to increase flexibility of reports, as well as surface additional columns from Timekeeper and Matter Tables.
Multiple Providers: It's now possible to display multiple Providers when there is more than one provider associated with a matter (Matter Table + Matter Detail pages)
2024
Milestone Dates: Admins now have the ability to add Milestone Dates to Notes.
Notes Search and Filter: You now have the ability to search and filter Notes.
Timekeeper Photo URLs: It's now possible to include Timekeeper Photo URLs within data files and have the image display on the Timekeeper Detail page.
Prior MTD Hours: Timekeeper and Matter Tables now include a column for Prior MTD Hours.
Editable Nickname and Law School Fields: It's now possible to edit the Nickname and Law School fields within Insights.
Participation (Assignment) Role: The Participation Table on the Timekeeper Detail page now has a column to show relevant assignments of a timekeeper on a matter.
Hover Over Text: Longer table field content can now be viewed in full by hovering over the field.
Edit Tags Pop-out Modal on Detail Pages: Tags are now sorted in alphabetical order.
Hours Billed After Matter Closed Date: Hours entered after the closed date of matters are now being captured and displayed.
Navigate to Tag Management from Edit Tags Section of Detail pages: Admins can now quickly navigate to Tag Management right from the Edit Tags section of the Timekeeper/Matter detail pages.
Edit Notes: You are now able to edit and delete notes that you have created.
Home Page Charts and Graphs: Inactive items have been removed from charts and graphs on the home page.
Home Page Filters: Limit down the specific timekeepers by Role, and the tiles, charts, and graphs will update accordingly.
Participation List Search: You now have the ability to search within the Participation Lists on the Timekeeper and Matter detail pages.
Upcoming Updates β³οΈ
Remainder of Q1 2025
Default Table Views: We are working on building functionality for admin users to designate a default view for their timekeeper and matter tables. This will be a user-by-user setting.
Custom Data Fields: Development work will be conducted to allow for the ingest of custom fields.
Q2 2025
Participation List Expanded View: We are working on the design of the "Expanded" view of the participation list to show more columns.
Notes Reports: Enhancements that will allow for limiting the number of notes per matter or timekeeper.
Home Page Filtering: We are adding role type filtering options to the "Firm Overview" charts.
